About process and collaboration
How does a project start?
With a conversation. First we understand your goals and what needs to change in your business. From there we send you a written proposal, with scope, timeline and price.
What's my role as a client in the project?
Your involvement is key. We ask you to join the planning meetings and the demos at the end of each sprint to give us your feedback and approve deliveries. The closer you are, the better the result.
Do you use agile methodologies?
Yes. We use Scrum and Kanban principles: short cycles, continuous delivery and room to adapt to changes, always with progress in plain view.
Who will I talk to during the project?
The person who designs and codes your project, from the first meeting to maintenance. No sales reps or middlemen.
Will the source code be mine at the end of the project?
Yes. When the project is finished and fully paid, you receive the intellectual property and access to all the source code. We build partnerships, not hostages.
What is "clean code" and why does it matter?
It's code that's well written, organized and easy to understand. For you it means a faster, more secure website that's much easier and cheaper to maintain or extend in the future, including by someone else.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes, white-label: your agency designs and talks to the client, and we code under your brand and under NDA. We explain how in agency solutions.
[ Pricing ]
About pricing and payments
How much does a project cost?
It depends on the scope. For standard business websites we have WordPress packages with a fixed scope. For everything else, after the first meeting you receive a detailed proposal with all the costs and timelines.
Can the price change during the project?
Not for the agreed scope: the price in the proposal is fixed. If during the project you ask for new features that weren't planned, we present the cost separately for you to approve before we start on them.
What are the payment terms?
Usually a deposit when the proposal is approved and the rest in payments tied to project deliveries. For WordPress packages, 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. If your project needs it, we can discuss another model.
Is there a charge for the first conversation?
No. The first conversation and the proposal come with no commitment.
[ Technology ]
About technology
Why not just buy a ready-made WordPress theme?
Bought themes tend to be heavy and hard to adapt. We build themes from scratch, designed for performance and for what you need. The result is a faster, more secure website with an admin that makes sense to you.
WordPress or a custom application?
WordPress is the right choice for content websites and standard shops. When you need your own business rules, complex private areas or demanding integrations, we develop with PHP and Laravel. We recommend what fits, not what costs most.
Does a maintenance plan include security?
It includes the basics: updates, backups and monitoring. The cybersecurity service is a deeper layer, with active monitoring, a firewall and an incident response plan, designed for businesses that can't afford problems.
Are your websites GDPR compliant?
Yes. Our in-house legal training means GDPR, cookies and legal texts are part of the project from the briefing, not an add-on at the end.
[ Timelines and support ]
About timelines and support
How long does a project take?
A custom WordPress website usually takes 4 to 8 weeks; a Laravel application, 3 to 6 months or more. A one-page site from our packages can be ready in 7 working days. Your project's timeline is set out in writing in the proposal.
What happens after launch?
We show you how to manage the website and you can carry on by yourself. If you'd rather we looked after it, our maintenance plans cover updates, backups, monitoring and small improvements.
Which languages do you work in?
Galician, Spanish, Portuguese and English. We also build multilingual websites, written by people who speak those languages.
Do you work outside Galicia?
Yes. We work remotely with clients all over Spain and in Brazil.
