What does the free version include?
The free version lets you create 1 LinkTree with up to 3 links, using the Glass design and Font Awesome icons. It is perfect for trying the plugin. To unlock unlimited LinkTrees, every design, SVG icons, QR codes, complete analytics and custom CSS, upgrade to Premium.
Do I need external services or APIs to use the plugin?
Not for the basics. QR code generation is 100% native (PHP and JavaScript). Font Awesome is loaded from a CDN but it is optional and can be turned off. If you turn on geographic lookup (Premium), you will need a free token from ipapi.co. All your analytics data is stored locally in your WordPress, under your full control.
Is it compatible with GDPR and data privacy?
Yes, completely. The plugin includes a customisable cookie consent banner, and it only tracks analytics after the user accepts. You can anonymise IP addresses automatically with a secure hash. We do not share data with third parties. Everything complies with EU regulations and you can configure it to suit your privacy needs.
How do I generate QR codes?
Open any LinkTree in the editor, go to the "QR code" section and click "Generate". The plugin automatically creates a QR code that links to your public LinkTree. You can download it as PNG or SVG, or save it directly to your WordPress Media Library. Use the QR code on printed materials, videos or social media.
Can I customise the design without writing CSS?
Yes. The plugin includes 5+ predefined designs (Glass, Minimal, Dark, Neon, Sunset) that you can apply with one click. Every design is fully responsive and looks good on mobile and desktop. If you want more control, the Premium version includes a custom CSS editor where you can adjust colours, fonts and spacing without touching the plugin code.
How do I see the analytics of my LinkTrees?
Go to [B] Easy LinkTree > Analytics in the WordPress dashboard. You will see a summary of page views and clicks per link for the last 30 days. You can filter by a specific LinkTree and export the data to CSV for deeper analysis. If you turn on geolocation, you also see which countries your visitors come from.
Does it work with Elementor, Divi or other builders?
Yes. Use the shortcode [easylinktree id="123"] on any page or post, even inside Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg or any builder that supports shortcodes. You can also insert the shortcode in sidebar widgets. The plugin generates clean, responsive HTML that adapts to any theme.
What happens if I cancel my Premium subscription?
Your LinkTrees and data are kept. You only lose access to the Premium features (additional LinkTrees, advanced designs, custom CSS, complete analytics). You can keep using the free version with your existing data, or renew Premium whenever you want. There are no penalties and no data loss.
Is there a limit to the clicks or views tracked?
No. We track every click and view without limits. The data is stored in your WordPress database. The Premium version lets you export and analyse unlimited data. The free version shows a basic summary. There are no usage quotas and no billing surprises.
Can I have several LinkTrees?
In the free version, only 1. In Premium, unlimited LinkTrees. Create different pages for different campaigns, audiences or products. Each has its own URL, independent analytics and unique QR code. Perfect for agencies or businesses with several brands.
