Swiper gallery with large main image and vertical thumbnails for Elementor. Four transition effects, autoplay, lazy-loading, responsive. Images from manual selection or post attachments automatically.
Elementor’s built-in gallery widgets are grids and carousels. They don’t give you a large main image paired with a strip of clickable thumbnails — the layout that product pages, portfolios, real estate listings, and vehicle details actually need. [B] Pretty Gallery fills that gap: a Swiper-powered gallery with a prominent main image on the left, a vertical thumbnail column on the right, and four transition effects to choose from — all styled directly inside Elementor.
The main image + vertical thumbnails layout is everywhere online. It’s the standard for e-commerce product images, property photo galleries, portfolio showcases, and vehicle listings. Visitors expect to click a thumbnail and see the full image update instantly. Elementor Pro doesn’t offer this natively.
The workarounds are all awkward. Lightbox galleries show thumbnails below the image in a strip, not beside it. Slider widgets have no thumbnail navigation. Custom CSS hacks on Elementor’s carousel break in Elementor’s editor. Third-party gallery plugins bring their own styling pipeline that conflicts with the rest of the Elementor build.
[B] Pretty Gallery renders a two-column layout: the main image takes up 80% of the width, the thumbnail column takes the remaining 20%. On desktop, thumbnails stack vertically and scroll if there are more than the configured row count. On mobile, the layout collapses to a single column with a horizontal scrolling thumbnail strip below the main image — no configuration needed, it’s built into the responsive CSS.
The gallery is powered by Swiper.js, which ships with Elementor and is loaded as a registered dependency — no extra HTTP requests, no library conflicts. The main swiper and thumbnail swiper are linked: clicking a thumbnail jumps to the corresponding slide, and advancing through slides scrolls the thumbnail column to keep the active thumb in view.
Four transition effects are available from the Content tab: Slide (default), Fade, Cube 3D (with shadow and depth), and Coverflow. Transition speed, autoplay delay, pause-on-hover, and loop are all configurable. Arrow navigation buttons are built in with full style controls, with an option to hide them on mobile.
loading="lazy" and decoding="async" attributes. The gallery does not block page load on sites with large image sets.aria-label attributes. The main carousel has aria-roledescription="carousel". The thumbnail container has an aria-label.Built by a senior developer with 18+ years of experience using Elementor’s official widget API and Swiper’s documented thumbs integration. If it does not work as described on your Elementor site, you get your money back.
Large main image with clickable vertical thumbnails is the standard for property listings, vehicle details, product pages, and portfolio showcases. Drop the widget on the template and it works — no custom CSS, no layout hacks.
Switch between Slide, Fade, Cube 3D, and Coverflow from the Content tab. Each effect uses Swiper's documented options — crossFade for Fade, full 3D perspective for Cube, rotation for Coverflow. Change the effect at any time without touching code.
Configure the widget once on an Elementor CPT template. Set source to "Post Attachments" and every post shows its own images automatically — ordered by media upload order. No per-post Elementor editing, ever.
The vertical thumbnail column switches to a horizontal scroll strip on mobile automatically. No responsive breakpoint settings to configure, no JS resize handlers to debug. It's in the CSS.
All images use browser-native lazy loading. Swiper is loaded from Elementor's already-registered copy — no additional HTTP request for the slider library. Fast pages by default.

Search for "Pretty Gallery" in the Elementor widget panel (it appears in the Basic category) and drag it onto the page or CPT single template.
In the Content tab, select "Manual Selection" and add images via the Gallery control, or select "Post Attachments" to automatically pull images from the current post. Post Attachments is the recommended mode for CPT templates.

Use cases where this plugin delivers the most value.
Set source to Post Attachments on the Elementor property template. Every listing shows its own photos automatically — vertical thumbnail strip on desktop, horizontal on mobile. No per-listing editing required.
Multiple photos per vehicle, displayed in the standard dealer-page layout. Post Attachments mode means uploading photos to the post is all the client needs to do.
Manual gallery selection with Coverflow or Cube 3D for visual impact. Full style control from Elementor's Style tab — no external CSS to fight.
For custom product CPTs without WooCommerce, the main image + thumbnail layout matches the product gallery pattern visitors are familiar with from e-commerce sites.
